
Low water, big reds
With temperatures in the 30s and winds out of the north, we are seeing a typical winter pattern of low water in the canals, bayous and ponds. This actually is a really special time to fish Dularge as the low water causes redfish to congregate in the deeper holes and channels. This means that when you find a deep hole, chances are good that these spots will be stacked with hungry redfish. Most any soft body bait with do either under a cork or off the bottom.
